Capeland Shelby Cobra Limited Edition Watch is Made for Racing

We love a good watch, and even better is a limited edition release. This allows the designers to truly explore what they are interested in and what they can do by pushing the boundaries of design. The new limited edition release of the Capeland Shelby Cobra watch has two great options for watch lovers and casual enthusiasts alike. While both come at a hefty price, the full package and presentation justifies the tag.

The Capeland Shelby Cobra M0A10282 is the first of the two models and it comes in hot. Featuring a black alligator strap with yellow rubberized calfskin lining, this timepiece is as luxurious as it is rugged. There will only be 1963 pieces worldwide, so they’re not messing around with this LE release. The second option is just as impressive as the first, with some notable design differences. The Shelby Cobra M0A10281 (note the number difference) has a similar appearance, however it features a polished/satin finished ADLC steel and vulcanized black rubber, finished off nicely with a yellow loop.
This one also will only be offered in 1963 models worldwide. Both versions look great, are made at the highest level of quality, and self-wind – a great overall package.

I hope this VentWatch.com review will come in useful and at the same time be very informative for those of you looking to buy a Rolex replica that costs below $100. I'm not too thrilled about the under $200 range, but you can get your hands on decent replicas in the latter category. I received quite a few emails from people asking where they can get a Rolex replica for less than $100, and I always give them the same answer: don't!

Quality: Are These Watches Any Good?

I hope the picture of the Rolex replica above speaks for itself, but just in case it doesn't (you kids and all your accessibility options!), I'm going to bestow upon you my remarks.

The date wheel is stuck in between, giving off a very twilight zone-ish feel. The paint on the bezel is of very poor quality and scratches very easily. Also, the steel used for the bracelet is not of the greatest, it too being very easy to scratch.
The laser etched crown logo at 6 o'clock looks horrid and most importantly, is not located at 6 o'clock.
A few things about the mechanism now. This Rolex Submariner replica ticks thanks to an Asian movement of some sorts. But, considering just about everything else about this watch, the movement runs good (minus the date wheel problem). It has a decent power reserve, my estimate being somewhere between 24-26 hours, and it keeps time rather well.
Overall, this Rolex replica is a perfect example of what you get for under 100$ (of course, I've had worse replicas costing a lot more). Setting such a low budget is always a gamble.

The Site: Usability and Design

The first thing that caught my eye is the stolen banners. They use banners taken from the gen brand websites and it's a bit confusing, really. The entire homepage is a bit confusing to be honest, it looks crowded, but once you start browsing around, things get better.
Take the Rolex Submariner replica collection. Once there, everything looks neat, photos have the same style and you get lots of filters for refining the search. The descriptions on the other hand have that… Chinese flair, if you get my drift.
Their Rolex replica collection is also pretty varied. I've seen vintage models as well as non-existent, cool looking ones. One that come to mind is a Sub with a stained-glass/pearl dial, which was cheap looking, of course, but props for originality!
Pictures are most likely taken out of their own stock, being properly watermarked and consistent.

Service: Is Their Staff Any Good?

You can get in touch with VentWatch.com only through emails, although they advertise a live chat feature, which, of course, doesn't work.
Their customer support is pretty lethargic and not very helpful either. They seem to be disinterested altogether, but I appreciate the fact that they didn't give me robotic answers.

Shipping: Is It Fast and Reliable?

Shipping was free and it is free for every order over $50. You have to pay $10 if your order doesn't exceed that sum. You can opt for an express shipping, for $20.
I've received the Rolex replica in about 20 days.

Return Policy: Is It Reasonable?

You get 7 days for a refund, 14 days for exchange.
They agreed to a refund, but it just wasn't worth returning the Rolex Submariner replica, considering I had to pay for the shipping back to them part. It's not a total loss, I will spare the movement, which is not that bad after all. Maybe I'll work on it, since I posted those how to entries.

The Bottom Line

Summing up this VentWatch.com review, I can only advise you to be patient and up your budget a little. Have in mind that a Rolex replica is just that and the cheaper it is, the riskier it is.
